PETITION: Nuclear Waste & Nuclear Free Zones
1) Nuclear Waste should not be stored on Indian Lands. If nuclear waste must be stored, then the site that generated the waste should be responsible for storing it. 2) Nuclear waste should not be transported from areas already polluted to clean areas. 3) Nuclear Free Zones should be declared and respected all across the United States. I agree that all have the right and the responsibility to protect their area from the hazards of nuclear waste. 4) The United States should declare a law that no material can be produced or used in the United States that cannot be disposed of safely. By signing this petition, I express my support of the above.
